PRESQUE ISLE, ME

The University of Maine at Presque Isle volleyball program has announced the addition of Alexis Reyes (Orange, Virginia / Orange County High School) to the Owls roster.

Reyes joins the program after competing at Orange County High School, where she played libero. Known for her defensive consistency and court awareness, Reyes developed into a key back-row presence and leader for her team.

Orange County head coach Donea Brooks highlighted Reyes' resilience and impact both on and off the court.

"Lexi is the definition of resilience," said Brooks. "Through injuries and tough moments, she turns adversity into fuel, elevating her game and becoming a true beast on the court. Her ability to encourage and uplift others on and off the court sets her apart. I am happy to see her efforts seek for higher commitments."

Reyes is looking forward to continuing her volleyball career at the collegiate level.

"I'm so excited to see where UMPI takes me and my love for volleyball! I cannot wait to meet new people and have new experiences," said Reyes.

Reyes plans to major in Criminal Justice at UMPI.
