PRESQUE ISLE, ME
The University of Maine at Presque Isle volleyball program has announced the addition of Jada Kee (Chinle, Arizona / Chinle High School) to the Owls roster.
Kee joins the Owls following a successful career at Chinle High School, where she competed as both a middle blocker and outside hitter. A versatile front-row player, Kee brings a combination of size, athleticism, and leadership to the UMPI volleyball program.
During her high school career, Kee earned Most Valuable Player honors in 2022 and received Honorable Mention recognition in 2026, highlighting her impact on the court and continued development as a player.
Kee is excited for the opportunity to continue her volleyball career while experiencing life beyond her hometown.
"I'm excited to play volleyball at a higher level," said Kee. "It gives me an opportunity to explore more than the Navajo Reservation."
Chinle head coach Kyron White praised Kee's leadership and the qualities she brings to a team.
"She is a natural leader," said White. "she brings a lot to the table."
Kee plans to major in Nursing at UMPI. Her sports media information sheet also lists her as a 5-foot-8 freshman from Chinle, Arizona.
