UMPI Golf Competes at Purpoodock Golf Club

CAPE ELIZABETH, ME – The UMPI golf team traveled down to Cape Elizabeth, Maine to compete at the Purpoodock Golf Club, hosted by Southern Maine Community College. The Owls finished in fifth with a team score of 368.

Coming off his career low, 78 the day before, Payton Jones led the Owls with an 86 on the day tying him for 11th place. Matt Randall was the next lowest scorer for the Owls finishing with a 91. Timothy Burns followed with a 93. Branden Oliver was the final scorer for the Owls finishing with a 98 on the day. Jacob Mondor finished with a 100 and Spencer Harmon finished with a 115.

Next up for the Owls golf team, is the NAC Championships held at Waterville Country Club, this weekend.
