BOSTON, ME (10-22-11) -- University of Maine-Presque Isle midfielder Aaron Hutchins (Fr./Medway, ME) had 3 goals and 1 assist on the season heading into his team's game this weekend at Fisher College. On Saturday, Hutchins was the offensive star, scoring two goals and assisting on two others as the Owls defeated the Falcons, 5-2.
The win moves UMPI to 4-9 on the season. Fisher fell to 0-12.
Also getting in on the scoring for the Owls were Kyle Corrigan (So./Caribou, ME), Brandon Caverhill (Fr./Caribou, ME), and Jeremy Tarr (So./Ashland, ME). The goals by Caverhill and Tarr marked the first of the season for each player.
The win gave UMPI a season sweep of Fisher as they knocked off the Falcons two weeks ago in Presque Isle, 11-1.
The Owls are back in action tomorrow, October 23rd, when they travel to 7-4-3 Maine Maritime Academy. Game time is set for 3:00pm.
