University of Maine at Presque Isle

Akhe McMichael continued his outstanding season this weekend highlighted by a 36 point performance in a 93-89 overtime victory over the University of Maine at Farmington. McMichael shot 13-25 from the field and 6 of 12 from three point range including the game tying three with under a minute to go in regulation. McMichael had 7 points in the last minute and a half to bring UMPI back from a 6 point deficit and force OT. He added six rebounds and three assists to the career performance as well. In a loss vs. Husson on Saturday McMichael once again led UMPI in scoring with 14 points and two more three-pointers.
