First-year Evelyn Elijah led the UMPI women with a 10-point weekend across two meets. Her standout performance came at the Regis Spring Classic, where she tossed a 29.32m in the javelin on her second attempt, earning six points. She followed that up at the Sheehan Memorial Meet, contributing three points in the shot put (8.92m) and one point in the discus (27.15m). Elijah’s versatile scoring across multiple events highlighted a strong weekend showing for the Owls.
