Joseph Tuulima has had a stellar two weekends anchoring UMPI men's track and field in the throwing events. This weekend in particular, with the Owls competing at the Division I, University of Maine, Tuulima took home third place in shot put with a 13.4m throw, while finishing 4th in the hammer throw with a 37.75m hurl which became a new school record.
