Garrett Chadwick has risen to the top of UMPI's statistical categories with outstanding performances on both sides of the ball. In a dramatic 6-5 win over VTSU-Lyndon on Saturday, Chadwick started the game on the mound, and threw eight innings, recording a career high 10 strikeouts and allowed four runs. At the plate in the same game, he went 3-5 with a run scored and four RBI, as he had a hand in five of the six runs the Owls scored. Chadwick currently leads the Owls in batting average, hitting .407.
