PRESQUE ISLE, ME
The University of Maine at Presque Isle women's soccer program has announced the addition of Leah Hebert (Fort Kent, Maine / Fort Kent Community High School) to the Owls roster.
Hebert joins the program following a four-year varsity career at Fort Kent Community High School, where she played multiple attacking positions, including left wing, right wing, and striker. Known for her work ethic and team-first mentality, Hebert developed into a dependable contributor throughout her high school career.
Hebert competed as a varsity player from grades 9-12 and will bring versatility and energy to the Owls lineup.
Former coach Mindy Forino praised Hebert's dedication and character on and off the field. "Leah is one of the most selfless, hardworking, dedicated and passionate athletes I have had the honor of coaching," said Forino. "Every team needs a Leah."
Hebert plans to major in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies at UMPI.
