The University of Maine at Presque Isle men's golf program has announced the addition of Kamden Morlock (St. Joseph, Missouri / Benton High School) to the Owls roster.

Morlock joins the Owls following a successful career at Benton High School, where he established himself as one of the program's top golfers. He finished his high school career with a 76.8 scoring average while earning numerous postseason honors.

A three-time state qualifier, Morlock also earned All-Conference honors twice, along with All-District and Academic All-State recognition during his career.

Benton High School coach Brad Hubbard praised Morlock's ability to impact a round in a variety of ways.

"Kam has the ability to take over a golf course at any time," said Hubbard. "He is long off the tee, strikes the ball well, and has a very creative short game."

Morlock is looking forward to beginning his collegiate career with the Owls.

"Excited to make UMPI my new home!" said Morlock.

Morlock plans to major in Business/Accounting at UMPI.
