The University of Maine at Presque Isle women's soccer program has announced the addition of Olivia Cote (Hartland, Maine / Nokomis Regional High School) for the upcoming season.

Cote joins the Owls after competing at Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, Maine. A versatile and physical defender, Cote primarily played right back during her high school career while demonstrating the ability to contribute anywhere on the field.

Nokomis head coach Lucas Jewett praised Cote's all-around abilities and competitive style of play. "She can play anywhere on the field as she is aggressive, fast, strong, tough, and skilled," Jewett said.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to join the team and can't wait to play!" Cote said.

Cote brings a strong defensive presence and athleticism to the Owls roster as the program continues to build for the upcoming season.

Cote plans to major in Psychology at UMPI.
