PRESQUE ISLE, ME

The University of Maine at Presque Isle women's soccer program has announced the addition of Chantal Ackley (Madawaska, Maine / Madawaska High School) to the Owls roster.

Ackley joins the program after a successful career at Madawaska High School, where she was a consistent offensive presence for the Owls. Playing primarily as a striker and forward, Ackley was known for her ability to create scoring opportunities and finish around the goal.

A three-year varsity starter, Ackley emerged as one of the team's top offensive threats, leading the team in goals during two different seasons. Throughout her career, she scored multiple goals each season and recorded several multi-goal performances.

Ackley earned multiple postseason honors for her play, including selections to the Aroostook County All-Star Team and the Northern Maine Class D Regional All-Star Team by the Maine Soccer Coaches Association. She was also named All-Aroostook during both her junior and senior seasons.

"I'm honored to join UMPI for both athletics and academics. I'm excited to compete and get to know a great group of girls," said Ackley.

Ackley plans to major in Elementary Education at UMPI.
