Owls Soar Over Eagles in NAC Win

PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The Owls fly past the Eagles 84-67 in the North Atlantic Conference Match Up. This puts their season match up at 1-1 on the year as the Owls advance to 4-6 in the NAC and 7-13 on the year as the Eagles fall to 8-3 in the NAC.

The Owls found themselves down in the end of the first half as the Eagles shot 48.5% from the field, led by Jeremy Moronta's 15-point first half. The Owls then bounced back in a big way in the second half. Taking the lead in the in the first minute and never letting it up.

Dany Harris led the Owls with 22 points on 10-16 shooting while also recording seven rebounds. Kj Minter was a beast on the boards while grabbing 15 rebounds to add to his ten points on the night off 5-9 shooting. Griffin Guerrette also finished with ten points while he added seven assists on his stat line. The Owls team finished with eight players with seven points or more, in their team victory.

The Owls will head on the road next as they face off in a doubleheader vs Thomas College in Waterville, ME.
