Box Score BIDDEFORD, Maine – Umaine-Presque Isle traveled to Biddeford to square off against the University of New England Nor'Easters (6-1) in the first of three volleyball contests this weekend for the Owls.
The Nor'Easters Katie Flynn put down a season-best 12 kills in just two sets as the University of New England cruised to a 3-0 victory (25-8, 25-13, 25-8) over the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Friday evening September 13th at the Harold Alfond Forum.
For the Owls (0-4), Maddi Thweatt (Jr. Middleton, ID) had two kills and 10 digs. Miranda Washinawatok (Jr. Shawano, WI) picked up 12 digs and Ashlon Stroub (Jr. Bakersfield, CA) contributed 8 digs.
Next up: UMPI will compete against the University of Saint Joseph's of Connecticut and Host Colby-Sawyer tomorrow in New London, NH.
