The UMPI Men's and Women's Cross Country squads finished out their 2025 seasons as they competed hard in the North Atlantic Conference Championship hosted by Husson University. The Women's team ran with five runners while UMPI ran with seven
Men:
Isiah and Aspen Mitchell led the Owls finishing 27th and 28th respectively. Isiah crossed the finish line in 33:49.4 for an average mile pace of 6:48. Aspen finished a minute and change after Isiah as he crossed with a time of 34:58.2 and pace of 7:02. Not far behind were Hector Perez and Kieran Everett who placed 30th and 31st respectively. Perez averaged a 7:09 pace, while Everett's mile split was 7:13.
Potter Raymond (36th) and David Gustin (39th) rounded out the scoring for UMPI who barely missed edging out Husson for 5th place as the Owls finished in sixth.
Women:
Natalie Miranda led the Owls with a great time of 28:51 and a mile pace of 7:44. Miranda's effort landed her 14th place. Milaya Buchanan improved once again, marking her second straight 6K PR. She finished with a time of 29:44 and a mile pace of 7:58. Her time earned a top-20 finish at 18th. Lindy Hyndman finished 30th while Danielle Moser and Pandora Kimball rounded out the scoring for UMPI, who finished fourth as a team.
