PRESQUE ISLE, ME
The Beat Goes on for UMPI Men's Basketball as they closed out another win. It wasn't easy at first, but the Owls were able to fend off the Terriers and improve to 15-3.
How it Happened:
For the first time in a while, the Owls fell behind early in the game as the Terriers opened it up 9-4. UMPI came back quickly though with an 8-0 run of their own to take back the lead. The rest of the first half was a game of runs as Thomas surged ahead by seven at 34-27, until UMPI came back to take a one-point lead at the half. The Owls then opened the second half up with a run and took control of the game within five minutes. The Terriers never got closer than seven from that point on and the Owls were able to once again close out the game showing situational prowess. They would win by a score of 82-68.
