"Brian is the definition of a personable trainer! He's the "player's trainer." He's always there to not only help our athletes at the drop of the hat but also to help out in practices anyway possible. His constant help and dependability has given him the nickname "Superman" amongst the baseball team. He brightens my day anytime I see him! We love everything about him and he represents what's right about UMPI! Thank you for everything you do Brian! UMPI student athletes love and appreciate you deeply!" – Timothy Burns – Senior Baseball Student Athlete
"I have known Brian for three years and he has been my teacher for the past year. For the past year I have been able to observe Brian. That is one of my best experiences here at UMPI. I have been a sponge around him taking in everything he knows to get ready for my future. I feel I am very prepared, because of Brian. He is one of the best people I could ask to learn from. Thanks to him I learned so much in a very little amount of time. He is a great teacher and an even greater person. I want to thank him for all the knowledge and experience from this past year." - Sierra Fay - Current Exercise Science with a Concentration in Athletic Training Student & Former Women's Basketball Student Athlete
"Brian is one of the hardest working individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His care for UMPI's students, student athletes, and colleagues are second to none. His knowledge of sports medicine and his ability to connect with athletes is truly something special. He is an individual who is there for you in the best of times and the worst of times. I feel fortunate to call him not only a colleague but a friend." - Dan Kane - Executive Director of Athletics & Recreation
