, the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) Owls showcased their dominance, securing a resounding 74-36 victory over the Fisher College Falcons. The Owls' performance was marked by a strong start, solid defense, and standout individual efforts.
From the opening tip-off, the UMPI Owls established their presence on the court, finishing the first quarter with a 20-10 lead. Their offensive efficiency was on full display, shooting an impressive 47% from the field in the initial period. The Falcons managed to keep pace in the second quarter, but UMPI maintained control, heading into halftime with a comfortable 38-23 advantage.
The Owls emerged from the locker room with an emphatic surge in the third quarter, outscoring the Falcons 25-7 to extend their lead substantially. The defensive intensity combined with efficient scoring allowed UMPI to firmly seize control of the game.
