Presque Isle, ME — The Owls finished out the weekend with a sweep vs North Atlantic Conference divisional opponent Thomas College. The Terriers of Thomas now sit a 4-12 on the season and 1-9 on the NAC. The Owls now advance to 11-9 and 6-4 in the NAC. 

The Owls and Terriers battled throughout the entire game, with ten lead changes and six ties throughout the 40-minute game. It was a grind it out game for both teams as they struggled scoring on the offensive end, due to some aggressive defense by both teams. The Owls were led by Dany Harris' (Danbury, CT) in the first half with his 13 points off 6-11 shooting. While the Terriers offensive rebounding kept the game tight as they finished with ten in the first 20 minutes. The Owls slowly built their lead in the second half as the Terriers battled to stay in the game, until a 10-0 run to end the game allowed UMPI to secure the win. 

UMPI was led by Harris' 27 points off another efficient 12-19 scoring to go along with his 12 points and six steals. Griffin Guerrette (Presque Isle, ME) finished the game with 19 points shooting 7-8 from the free throw line, including some clutch late-game free throws to seal the game. 

The Owls will continue their home stretch with another NAC game as they host Husson University.
