Bangor, ME — The Owls men's basketball team took on North Atlantic Conference opponent Husson University in their first game of the double header. Husson came away with an 83-68 victory giving them their third win in the NAC. 

A back and forth game started early, led by Shyquinn Dix (Jr. Stamford, CT) with a 12 point first half, although they would still end the first half down seven. 

The back and fourth game continued in the second half, before the Eagles finally edged too far past the Owls. Dix finished with a game high 21 points off of an impressive 10-16 shooting while adding six rebounds and four steals. Griffin Guerrette (So. Presque Isle, ME) finished with 17 points off of a 50% shooting performance. Te'Von Hines (Sr. Alexandria, VA) and DeAndre Duncombe (Jr. Port St. Lucie, FL) both finished with 11 each. 

The Owls will play their second game vs Husson tomorrow Saturday the 11th at 3:00 PM.
