Box Score Randolph Center, VT –The Owls opened the 2019-20 season with a 4-0 victory over Vermont Tech. With three goals in the first half the Owls took control early and never looked back.
Andre Rossignol (So. Van Buren, ME) scored the Owls first goal of the season off a Paul Kaplan (Jr. Embden, ME) assist in the 21:40 minute. Hunter Wardwell (Fy. Mars Hill, ME) scored an unassisted goal for UMPI to make it 2-0.
Jacob Worthley (Jr. Houlton, ME) scored the Owls third goal, assisted by Nathaniel Stone (Fy. Perth-Andouer, NB), wrapping up their first half surge. Kaplan put an exclamation on the game with a goal from 45 yards away.
The Owls next game is at Fisher College Sunday September 8that 12:00pm.
