Johnson, VT - The University of Maine-Presque Isle Volleyball Team hit the road for three away matches, all of which are being held on the Campus of Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The Owls were knocked off today in their North Atlantic Conference game vs. SUNY Canton of New York by a 3 to 0 score. 

SUNY Canton(10-11, 1-0) controlled all three sets against UMPI (7-15, 0-1) winning 25-18, 25-13 and 25-17. 

UMPI's statistical leaders included Maddi Tweatt (So. Middleton, ID) with 5 kills and 13 digs. Miranda Washinawatok (So. Shawano, WI) recorded 5 kills, 9 digs, 1 block and 1 assist while Lara Aroz (Jr. Tucson, AZ) led the team with 11 assists. Ashlon Stroub (So. Bakersfield, CA) totaled 12 digs for the match and Chandler Westin (Fr. Denver, CO) added 10.
