Wednesday evenings matchup between the undefeated Owls and the Mariners of Maine Maritime (0-2) will be broadcast over the internet this evening.  The broadcast will begin at 6:45pm this evening and can be view on your computer from the following website:  http://portal.stretchinternet.com/mma/

The Owls hold a 32-18 advantage in the series between the two programs, with Maine-Presque Isle winning the last battle, 65-58 on November 20th of last year in Wieden Gymnasium.

Sophomore player Kyle Boucher is the Mariners go-to man early in the season.  The highly skilled 6'8 post player is averaging 11ppg and 6.5 rebounds.  Freshman Tyler Thayer is playing well for the Mariners, having been named to the season opening Ramada Roundball All-Tourney team at the University of New England this past weekend.

Freshman Kevin Collins leads the Owls with 32 points this season, adding an average of five rebounds per game. Junior Chase Vicaire added 27 points in two games, while freshman Maurice Harris has 21 points off the bench for the Owls. Brandon McGill is averaging 10 points per game while picking up an average of 7.5 rebounds per game, and two blocks a game.
