University of Maine at Presque Isle

Head Athletic Trainer Brian Morrison is in his fifth year as an employee for the UMPI Athletics Department. 

Morrison is originally from Nova Scotia and a U-Maine Presque Isle Alumni class of 2008, where he played on the Baseball team and graduated with an Athletic Training degree while he holds his Board Certified and License for Athletic Training in the state of Maine.  

Upon graduation in 2008, Morrison worked for the Halifax Moosehead's hockey club and Lewiston Maineiacs Hockey club serving as Athletic Trainer and an integral part of Hockey Operations.  In 2011, Morrison relocated to Presque Isle where he began employment with County Physical Therapy LLC. Serving Aroostook County high schools as an Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Morrison is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and holds a Certification in Concussion Management.

He has held the position of Head Athletic Trainer since 2020.

Brian currently resides in Presque Isle with his wife Brittany and children Liam and Cora.
