Waterville, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle women's cross country team traveled to Waterville, Maine to compete in the Thomas College Cross Country Invitational. Husson won the meet with a team score of 37. UMF earned second, Southern Maine finished third and Thomas College finished fourth. UMPI did not post a team score.
Katelyn Osborne (Mount Desert Island, ME) finished first for the Owls, giving her a sixth place finish overall. Finishing in 26:17.8 with an average mile pace of 8:27.8. Annaset Jackson (Wilton, ME) finished in 27th place with a time of 31:36.1, with an average pace of 10:10.2 per mile. Elizabeth Bitar (Percy, ME) finished in 39th place with a time of 38:43.
The Owls will head to Bangor, Maine to race in the Husson Harrier Invitational on Saturday September 25th.
