Aaron Marston MS, ATC, CSCS --  Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Aaron Marston was named head coach of the women’s soccer team prior to the 2019 season. Coming off a 2-13 season the year prior, coach Marston made an immediate impact to the program. Bringing in ten first year players to help bring their record to 7-6-2 in his first season.

After sitting out the 2020 season due to the COVID Pandemic, Coach Marston and the Owls continued to improve at an impressive rate. The Owls would finish their 2021 season 7-8 while going 5-4 in the North Atlantic Conference and making the playoffs for the first time since joining the NAC in 2018.  

As a player, Coach Marston was a 4 year starter center midfield and 2 year Captain at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  He then served as a Graduate Assistant for the Marshall University Men’s Soccer team who were ranked in the top 25 in the country in Division I men’s soccer. 
Coach Marston then moved to Florida where he was the Director of a large sports performance facility, training athletes of all sports at the highest level.  Coach Marston has always been involved with soccer, working with players from middle school, high school, club, collegiate and has helped to get several players ready for professional soccer.

As an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach, he also understands the importance of injury prevention and the fitness level needed for the collegiate game.  His coaching focus for this year is “fitness, fundamentals, and raising soccer IQ”.
