Kaitlin Thibodeau-Corey joins the Owls staff as the UMPI Head Softball Coach/Retention Coordinator, starting August of 2023.
Thibodeau-Corey is a former Division III softball player at Mitchell College in Connecticut, where she played for four years. While at Mitchell, Thibodeau-Corey was a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, a student representative of the Board of Trustees; making the Academic All-Conference Team three of her four years, Thibodeau-Corey went on to graduate, earning the Criminal Justice Award and Top Female Student Athlete Award. As a player, Thibodeau-Corey earned Freshman Women's Student Athlete of the Year and New England Collegiate Conference 1st Team in 2018.
After graduating from Mitchell College, Thibodeau-Corey went on to get her Graduate Degree at Keystone College, while serving as the Graduate Assistant for the Softball Team. In her two years with Keystone, Thibodeau-Corey took on many different roles as a Graduate Assistant, including performing roles as the Head Softball Coach for the 2022 spring season as the Interim Head Coach.
