PRESQUE ISLE, ME - The University of Maine at Presque Isle softball team finished their regular season at home on Saturday against Husson University. Between the two game double header, the UMPI team presented a check in support of the Children's Miracle Network for over $500.
The team raised money for CMN during the season and wore gold shoe laces during their last game in honor of pediatric cancer. Accepting the check is Jamie Guerrette, community engagement specialist at TAMC, which is a CMN hospital. Presenting the check to Guerrette were, from left kneeling: Mikayla Churchill, Nicole Marucci, Jordi Legassie and Hanna Craig.
