JOHNSON CITY, NY – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Men's Basketball team (9-10) suffered a loss on the road on Friday evening as they fell to Davis College by a score of 76-74.
Davis would shoot the ball well on the night, hitting 50.9% of their shots from the floor, including 12 of 24 from behind the three-point arc. The Owls, while not shooting poorly, were unable to keep up that pace, shooting 34.8% from the floor, but hitting nine of their 20 three-point attempts. UMPI was able to put pressure on their hosts by getting to the free throw line, converting on 17 of 25 opportunities from the charity stripe.

Nick Lenhard (SR, Falcon, CO) and Anthony Chacho (JR, Watertown, CT) would each add 12 points to the effort. The Owls finish their weekend road trip on Sunday when they take on Unity College (6-13) at 1 PM.
