Washington D.C. --  The Shoremen of Washington College collected 14 hits on their way to a 10-0 victory over the visiting Owls Monday afternoon.

Jesus Garcia was shaky early, giving up 5 earned runs on 4 extra base hits in a tough second frame for the freshman making his first collegiate start.  Garcia settled in to provide the Owls with a quality start allowing only 3 hits after the offensive fireworks of the Shoremen in the second inning.

Senior Ghaz Sailors would replace Garcia and give up a run after hitting her leadoff batter in the 7th inning.  Nate Bowers took to the mound for his first taste of collegiate pitching and finished out the game giving up 4 runs on 4 hits, including two extra base hits.

Brady Rowe, Matt Cauchon and Garcia had hits for the Owls.

The Owls will next venture north to Annville, Pennsylvania to play Lebanon Valley College Tuesday afternoon.  First pitch is schedule for 3:30pm.
