About the Owls

*  Saturday will be "Senior Day" for the Owls.  Jordan Duffy (Fort Augustus PEI), Max Mayer (Oxford, ME), Anthony Batchelder (West Enfield, ME), Carlos Villoria (Caracas, Venezuela), Jake Fillebrown (Stoneham, ME), and Stephen Thorne (Dalhousie, New Brunswick) will all being playing their last games for Presque Isle this weekend.  Fillebrown and Thorne have played baseball for four seasons.

*  This weekend's games will be the first and only time the Owls play in Presque Isle this season.  Last weekend's pair of scheduled home doubleheaders had to be moved to Bangor, ME when fields were deemed to be unplayable due to the late arrival of spring in northern Maine.

*  Two nuances came of the Owls' Saturday doubleheader sweep of Newbury.  First, Presque Isle won both games by the identical score of 4-3.  And secondly, despite not starting either game, pitcher Jordan Perry (Jr./Baileyville, ME) figured prominently in both, picking up the save in game one and the win in game two.
