Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Owls Host Bengals

PRESQUE ISLE, MAINE – The Owls women's soccer team hosted Aroostook County opponent University of Maine at Fort Kent. The Bengals of UMFK would go on to win 5-0. The Owls now sit 0-12 on the year.
 
The Bengals started off with an early goal, scoring in the 4th minute of the game. The Bengals would keep up the energy in the first half as they put up three more goals before heading into the half. The Bengal were leading the Owls ten shots to two in the first 45 minutes. In the second half the Owls came out with a high energy and played the Bengals nearly even as the shots were two to one in the Bengals favor. UMFK was able to put another one in the back of the net as they scored their final goal in the 82nd minute of the game.
 
Next up: the Owl will head on the road this weekend as they face off against Fisher College in a non-conference match up.
