Presque Isle vs. Castleton State

Castleton State College received seven kills from Brittany Brayman en route to a 3-0 sweep of University of Maine at Presque Isle on Saturday afternoon at the Eagle Dome.

Castleton (2-4) hit .152 overall as a team while holding the Owls to just 12 kills defensively. The Spartans won each set with ease taking the three sets, 25-11, 25-13 and 25-10.

UMPI (0-9) was led by Morgan Swan and Hannah Boyce who each put down three kills. Shannon Brown led the way defensively for the Owls with a game-high eight digs, while Katie Patenaude tallied two solo blocks at the net in the loss.
