Winston-Salem, NC --  #2 seed Agnes Scott College was too much for Maine-Presque Isle, taking a quarterfinal match 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-15) at the Great South Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament Friday afternoon.

All-Conference players Lauren Aiken and Shelli Sherman put the Scotties on their collective backs and carried Agnes Scott to victory.  Aiken had 7 kills and hit at a .600 percentage, while Sherman recorded 13 service aces for ASC.

Shannon Brown led the Owls with 3 kills, 3 service aces and 12 digs, but overall the Presque Isle attack was non-existent against the Scotties blockers, collecting a negative kill percentage for the match (-.143).

Katie Patenaude, Hannah Boyce, and Leslie Theriault each registered 2 kills, while Morgan Swan tallied 5 assists in the match.
