Sunrise Conference Players and Runners of the Week

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL - Player of the Week
Megan Korhonen (a junior, Setter from Littleton, Maine)

Megan is honored fro the third time this season after leading the Owls to two wins this week.  The junior from Littleton, Maine, averaged 6.5 assists, 1.5 kilss, and 1.1 aces in her six games played this past weekend.  She passed out 21 assists in a 3-0 win over the University of Maine at Machias and another 18 in a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont College.

MEN'S SOCCER - Co- Offensive Player of the Week
Joshua Peaslee (a junior, Midfield from Woolwich, Maine)

Josh is the co-winner this week after notching four points in a 5-0 win over Fisher College.  The junior scored two goals in the shutout win.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY - Runner of the Week
Justin Fereshetian (a sophomore from Turner, ME)

Justin is recognized after capturing the individual men's championship at the Sunrise Conference championship at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  The sophomore ran the race in a time of 29:00 (better his previous time on the course by around 50 seconds) and was named the Male Runner of the Year.  Having also been named to the all-conference team, Justin also qualified for the NAIA National Championships, which will be held on November 21st in Vancouver, Washington.
