Alex Csiernik has been named the UMPI Player of the Week, hitting .409 for the week ending May 7.  The senior co-captain went 9-for-22, with five doubles and slugged .636 over the six game span.

In two wins against EMCC, Csiernik smacked three doubles among his 4 hits and scored two runs.  

Csiernik, recently named co-MVP of the UMPI baseball team with fellow senior Josiah Brazier, ends the year batting .265 with an OBP of .365.
