Osborne Leads Owls with 6th Place Finish in NAC Championships

Waterville, ME – The Owls women's cross country team was led by first year runner Katelyn Osborne (Mount Desert Island, ME) as she finished sixth in the North Atlantic Conference Championships, earning her a spot on the All-conference First Team. Osborne finished the 5K race in 23:55.2 with a 7:37 average mile, leading the Owls to a sixth place finish, with a team score of 173. SUNY Delhi just edged Husson University, scoring 46 points to the Eagles' 49 to win the 2021 NAC Women's Cross Country race.

Felix Norkin (Denmark, ME) was the next Owls runner to finish with a time of 28:07.4 as she finished in 37th place, 9:03.1 mile split. Annaset Jackson (Wilton, ME) finished 47th with a time of 29:24.3 and a 9:27.9 average mile. Kailee Sprague (North Berwick, ME) finished in 33:51.4 as she finished 57th. Elizabeth Bitar (Percy, ME) finished 61st with a time of 35:56.6. Sophia Olore was the last Owl to finish with a time of 39:04.
