Women's Cross Country Competes in State of Maine Meet

Waterville, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls Men's Cross Country team traveled to Waterville to compete in the State of Maine Meet, hosted at Colby College. UMPI went on to finish tenth in the meet.

Annaset Jackson (Fy. Wilton, ME) was the Owls first runner to finish the 5K race, finishing with a time of 25:14 and 99th place. Jayde Whitten (Fy. St. Albans, ME) finished with a time of 25:38, Kaily Rich (Fy. Lebanon, ME) was close behind with a time of 25:59. Shelby Shea (Fy. Springfield, ME) finished 114th with a time of 26:26, and Hannah Harmon (Fy. Jackman, ME) rounded out the scorers for UMPI, with a time of 26:36.

UMPI heads to Standish, Maine next weekend for the Runnin' Monks Invitational at Saint Joseph College.
