Silvers missed the final all-conference position by a mere five seconds, a testament to her continuous seasonal improvement with this being both a season's and all-time best performance. Coach Chris Smith indicated that "despite the wet and slow conditions we ran very well today. Yesterday's Maine state high school championships beat the course up a bit, but we pushed through with a strong race by everyone".
The Owl's will next contest the NCAA Division 3 New England Championships at Bowdoin College on November 10th. The race will see the Owls toe the line against more than 50 of the region's best teams.
