Aaron Marston MS, ATC, CSCS -- Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Coach Marston enters his first year as Head Coach of the Women’s Soccer Program and brings a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm to this young team. As a player, Coach Marston was a 4 year starter and 2 year Captain at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. He then served as a Graduate Assistant for the Marshall University Men’s Soccer team who were ranked in the top 25 in the country in Division I men’s soccer. Coach Marston then moved to Florida where he was the Director of a large sports performance facility, training athletes of all sports at the highest level. Coach Marston has always been involved with soccer, working with players from middle school, high school, club, collegiate and has helped to get several players ready for professional soccer.
As an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach, he also understands the importance of injury prevention and the fitness level needed for the collegiate game. His coaching focus for this year is “fitness, fundamentals, and raising soccer IQ”.
