MEDFORD, MA – The Owls Women's Soccer team (1-12) saw their season come to an end Sunday, as they fell on the road to the Fisher Falcons (11-3) by a final score of 4-0.
The Falcons put UMPI in a hole early, as the Falcons would score just 1:49 into the game. Fisher would add goals in the 19th and 37th minutes to claim a 3-0 lead at the half.
The Owls would fend off their hosts for most of the second half, but would not be able to mount any sort of threat of their own. With less than a minute remaining on the clock, the Falcons would tack on a final goal, to put the final touches on a 4-0 victory.
Julia Schojan (SR, Rochester, NY) continued to be the major thorn in the side of the Owls as she would score three goals and be credited with an assist.
UMPI's season draws to a close as they finish with a 1-12 record.
