Women's Soccer Postseason Awards

PRESQUE ISLE, ME – Women's Soccer postseason awards were announced recently for both the USCAA and the Association of Division III Independents.  The University of Maine at Presque Isle had four student athletes honored by the AD3I and five honored by the USCAA.

Bethany Heald – Junior – Enfield, ME


Bethany has been selected to the 2015 USCAA Soccer National All-Academic Team.  A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA and sophomore standing or higher to qualify.  Bethany was also selected as a forward on the AD3I All-Independent Second Team.  Bethany scored six goals and had one assist in 15 games this season.

Allie Lopez – Sophomore – Kingsfield, ME

Allie has been selected to the 2015 USCAA Soccer National All-Academic Team.  A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA and sophomore standing or higher to qualify.  Allie was also selected as a goalkeeper on the AD3I All-Independent Second Team.  She was credited with 153 saves this season and had a 71.8 save percentage in 15 games this season.

Samantha Nadeau – Sophomore – St. David, ME


Samantha has been selected to the 2015 USCAA Soccer National All-Academic Team.  A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA and sophomore standing or higher to qualify.  Sam was also selected as a forward on the AD3I All-Independent First Team.  She scored five goals and had five assists in 13 games this season.

Autumn Poulin – Sophomore – Winslow, ME

Autumn has been selected to the 2015 USCAA Soccer National All-Academic Team.  A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA and sophomore standing or higher to qualify.  

Abigail Riitano – Senior – Abbot, ME

Abi has been selected to the 2015 USCAA Soccer National All-Academic Team.  A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA and sophomore standing or higher to qualify. 

 Mikaelah Tracy – Junior – Houlton, ME

Mikaelah was selected as a defender on the AD3I All-Independent Second Team.  She scored five goals and had one assist in 15 games this season.
