Presque Isle, ME --  The #6 ranked Albany College of Pharmacy defeated Maine-Presque Isle 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore Allie Lopez was outstanding in goal for the Owls, registering 28 saves in the match.  Lopez stopped 18 Albany shots in a first half that saw the Owls playing well, down only 2-0 to the high powered Albany attack that features the two top USCAA goal scorers in the Nation.

The Owls could not keep the positive momentum in the second stanza as Kayli Smith scored just 30 second into the final period.  Albany would tack on 3 more goals to secure the victory.

The USCAA leading scorer, Erin Tersegno tallied 4 goals on the day and Smith added 2 goals.  Tersegno and Smith each added an assist on the day.

The Owls, now 3-5-1 on the season will next play the #5 ranked Maine-Machias Clippers in Machias on Wednesday.  The Owls tied the Clippers 3-3 earlier in the season.
