Rivier University beat the Owls 5-1 in the Saturday opener of the Husson University Classic.
Megan Caron got the Raiders on the board just 13 minutes into the contest. Presque Isle would fight back and knot the game at 1 when freshman Sam Nadeau scored her first collegiate goal at the 20 minute mark.
The rest of the match belonged to the Raiders sophomore Maggie Cohoon who would score three goals after Caron scored the go-ahead goal with 9 minutes left in the first half.
Rivier outshot the Owls 19-11. UMPI's Allison Lopez made 10 saves in the loss.
