* On Saturday vs. SUNY-Canton, UMPI will be without leading scorer Lainey Herring (Sr./Houlton, ME).  Herring picked up a red card on Wednesday vs. Machias and will be forced to sit out the weekend's first game.

* Also missing from this weekend's action will be GK Taylor Ussery (Sr./La Verne, CA).  Ussery has missed the team's last three contests after suffering an injury against UMaine-Fort Kent.

* With the cancellation of next week's make-up match with UMaine-Augusta, Saturday's contest with SUNY-Canton will begin a stretch of 9 straight road games for the Owls.
