Kourtney is a lanky athlete who is a very capable scorer, she rebounds extremely well, and she can defend multiple positions."
"I am looking forward to attending UMPI because it keeps me close to family and friends, and it allows me to continue doing what I love such as sports. I am going to be majoring in Bio/Pre-Med, which I have always had an interest in going into the medical field, so this program gives me lots of room to make some final touches on a definite career path." West continued, "I am excited to play basketball at the collegiate level with many talented athletes, and continue working on a sport that has been in my heart for many years. "Kourtney has been a 4 year varsity player for us and has improved her game each year, becoming a very good inside/outside player. She has great quickness and can score inside but also step out and hit the three. She uses her length on the boards (back-to-back 19 rebound games this season), passes and runs the floor well. She is a team player and will be a great addition to the UMPI program," said Ft. Fairfield Coach Larry Gardner.
