Owls Fall to Husson in Tough NAC Match-up

Bangor, ME – The UMPI Owls women's basketball team took on the Husson Eagles in their second game of the back to back NAC games. The Owls would lose their fourth NAC game to the tough Husson team, 91-60.

UMPI was off to a slow start, struggling on the offensive end as the score in the end of the first quarter was 31-7, in the Eagles favor. The Owls bounced back in the second quarter, winning the quarter 18-14. Although, the lead was too great as the Eagles held onto the lead through the second half.

The Owls were led by Marissa Valdivia Reagle (Jr. Seattle, WA), finishing with 14 points off of 4-8 shooting, five rebounds and four steals. Sarah Musselman (So. Turlock, CA) led the team in field goals made with five, off of her 11 attempts.

The Owls will head to Bowdoin on Tuesday for a 5:00 PM showing vs the number two ranked team in Division III.
