The Owls kept the margin in single digits and twice got within 2 points before UMaine-Machias ended the quarter with a 49 to 43 advantage. Musselman scored 4 points and Reagle 3 points in the 3rd but the Owls could only muster 12 points total for the period.
An intense 4th quarter saw the Owls close the gap to 2 points before UMM moved out to a 7 point lead with 2 minutes left to play. UMPI twice got the lead back to within 3 points as Mariah Dunbar (Fr.
