About the Owls
  • Senior guard Emily Pelletier is averaging just under 15 points per game in her last four contests.
  • After not coming down with more than 11 offensive rebounds in their first eight contests, the Owls pulled down 22 and 20 respectively during a 2-0 road trip at Fisher and SUNY-Canton last weekend.
  • Faltering at the finish of some games earlier in the season, the Owls have put an emphasis on "closing out" better in 2013.  The early results have been positive. In a 56-44 win over Fisher, the Owls secured the victory with an 11-2 run over the final 3:29.  Two days later in a 54-46 triumph at SUNY-Canton, Presque Isle used a 13-4 run in the final 4:07 to earn the road win.

  • Freshman Megan Pelletier has scored double figures in all 11 games of her collegiate career.  Her high total is 28, achieved on Nov. 30 vs. Green Mountain.
  • The Terriers have been "road warriors" playing .500 ball away from home (2-2) while struggling at home (1-6).
  • Thomas last played on Jan. 10th, a 63-49 loss to UMaine-Farmington.
  • Junior Elizabeth Goodall is shooting 40% from 3-pt range this season (18-45).

About the Falcons
  • Last weekend vs. Presque Isle, junior Javana Bernard scored her 1000th career point for Fisher women's basketball.  She is only the 2nd Falcon to topple that plateau.
  • Bernard and teammate Porsha Grayson scored 36 of their team's 44 points in a 56-44 loss to the Owls in Lynn, MA last weekend.
  • This weekend's games will be only the 4th and 5th road contests of the season thus far for Fisher.

  • Freshman point guard Kayla Richards is the only Fort Kent player averaging over 30 minutes played per contest (30.4).
  • The Bengals currently rank 1st in USCAA Division I in "free throw attempts per game" (25.9)
