Men's Cross Country Race in Runnin' Monks Invitational

Standish, ME – The Owls men's cross country team competed in the annual Runnin' Monks Invitational, hosted my Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine. The men ran an 8K race, while Bates took the team win with an overall score of 23, the Owls finished fifth with a team score of 118.

Stephen Grierson (Bass Harbor, ME) finished first for the Owls, with an overall 16th place finish with a time of 30:30.2, with a 6:09 mile pace. Dareek Roberts (Jefferson Parish, LA) was the next Owl runner to finish with a 24th overall finish in 32:00.1, which put his pace at 6:27. Alessandro Marroquin (Weslaco, TX) finished in 35th place with a time of 35:27.5. While Campton Tinkham (Manchester, ME) finished 38th with a time of 39:08.1, and Joel Soper (Livermore, ME) rounded out the Owls scorers with a time of 41:07.9.

The Owls next race will be the NAC Championships, hosted by Thomas College. October 30, in the men's 8K race.
